Looking For the Official Party Line on Energy Storage

I can’t speak about the US but in my own country Austria, most of the members of the government have no clue about the economics of storage and the true consequences of slapping all this onto the backs of rate- and taxpayers. The few who do are usually on the lobbying side and they have transformed this whole thing into a machine that transfers tax money to those who finance such projects – mostly banks. They could not care less about climate change or anything environmental but they know that better than having to work markets for making money is expropriating the taxpayer base.

The end product is an excellent illustration of why central planning does not work and can never work.
