I am not opposed to EV’s. Anyone who pays the full price for what he uses and accepts the limitations shall be able to do so. What I oppose is not only that those on low incomes pay for the toys of the rich. It’s also that public institutions throw loads of taxpayer money into the wind when they sell their vehicles and producer expensive EVs instead. It’s easy to spend money that does not belong to you. Fancy purchases shall be reserved for those that spend their own money only.
