Major Livestock Producing Countries Commit to Mitigate Methane in Agriculture

Large parts of Europe and all the rest of the civilized world were wetlands. Most of them were drained and converted into useful land to the point that wetlands are the exception now. But wetlands are also very large natural emitters of methane gas. Yes, it is natural and as green as can be. Do we have – as a result of the methane-reducing activities of our forebears a methane backpack that we can refill because if we took it out of the equation over thousands of years, putting it back today would only make us net zero. Ain’t it?
