Oh yes, thats what he wants? What other “leading economies” does he have in mind for that. Let’s have a reality check. The European Union is altogether not in the best of shape. I would even say it has a bad limp and Germany – once the engine of the Union – already drags a leg behind. North America will go more and more shale as it needs cheap and clean energy to revive its industrial sector and China can hardly be called a “green economy”. Japan just increases coal use just like China. Who is left? Every single country will have to fix its own broken economy. No money for virtue signaling.
