New Holland Agriculture debuts world’s first LNG tractor

Ah, finally. It sure takes its sweet time but I have predicted more than 10 years ago that LNG is going to be the fuel for everything one day as there is very little that cannot be practically and cleanly fuelled by it. The technology is mature and ultrasafe, its cleaner than pretty much anything else out there, has a very mature gas and LNG supply chain to feed from and if there is any spill ever, nothing and nobody will be harmed as it’s non-toxic and won’t pollute the ground or the water. Well done CNH.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
