Nigeria dangerously exposed to oil crash

That’s bad – but there is an opportunity hidden in this. Nigeria has a resource that’s better than oil. Its people. I have been to many countries in Africa and no matter where you go Nigerian businessmen are everywhere. Education in Nigeria is not the worst as well. Buy something in the go-slow in Lagos and chances are that the guy selling you has a degree. The country does not offer a lot of opportunities. Unleash the forces of a free market on the people and they will thrive. Not without problems but the current statement is worse.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
