We must face the facts – real net zero means there will be net zero people living in anything better but stoneage-style comfort. Not only will we have to annihilate the human race, but we will also have to take pretty much all life with us. Only as a barren rock will this planet ever be net zero. And this is what the majority of people need to be made understand. Their life is over – not metaphorically but for real.
