No early breakup for W Hudson Bay sea ice again this year: polar bears still on the ice

This cannot be true. A lot of venerable news outlets have told us as recently as 2017 that polar bears would die en masse and are in danger of extinction. And now they walk on the very ice that cannot exist according to the predictions of such eminent luminaries as Al Gore but also a lot of so-called bastions of science. What are we to think of them now that everything they said turned out to be wrong?
