A pipeline is the most economical and also one of the safest ways to transport anything – if whatever we talk about lends itself to pipeline transport at all. In this sense, we may consider an electricity cable a pipeline of sorts. BUT – those economics and safety do only function in a safe and secure world without rouge actors that seek to interrupt our economic system. This is where lump delivery comes in – forgive me the name I invented out of blue air. Lump delivery is by ship, by rail, or by truck – in oils case it’s the tanker. You can take a tanker down or even disrupt receiving terminal. But it will be hard for you to totally interrupt the system.
