And this problem has a number of sides to it. One would be that European customers cannot be seen signing long-term supply agreements because of their virtue-signaling political landscape and it’s those long-term agreements that are needed. Second, for the longest time, US projects have unduly focused on Asian customers but those switch back to coal and less to LNG. But the worst mistake they made themselves was their utter arrogance. They thought that if they build the project, the customers will come as they have always done. True Business Development is not a skill they care for apparently.
