Qatargas set to hit ‘best in class’ LNG production target

Look at that. And those guys have just announced that they want to throw another 50 million tons of LNG annually on an already oversupplied market until 2027. Does anyone believe they cannot pull this off? But on a more serious note – where is all this LNG going to go? That’s not the only new volumes coming online until that date.

Qatargas’ LNG production is on target to achieve the “best in class” reliability performance of 98.8 percent while the Ras Laffan refinery achieved strong reliability of 98.6 percent, well ahead of the current year targets.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
