Renewables Overtake Coal, But Lag Far Behind Oil And Natural Gas

Sure, if Natural Gas kills the coal plants and RE just grows a little then one-day coal will be small enough to slip under RE. Now try that with Natural Gas. We call that pimping – that trying to pass a turkey for a peacock.

In 2019, U.S. renewable consumption overtook coal, but still lags far behind consumption of petroleum and natural gas.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
