Combine that with the news that Japan puts 10 billion into LNG competence and projects with the aim to make the Gulf less relevant. Oil from the Gulf gets new risk markups and its ging to hurt those who get heir oil from there. Chiefly China which cannot be happy about the current situation. Also, Gas is a much more global fuel. 60% of the world’s oil comes from the PG. Only 20 of its LNG.

The risk of further high-impact attacks against Saudi energy infrastructure is high, according to Verisk Maplecroft.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
