If Moscow wants the region to remain in deep freeze they should be pleased about the incoming sunspot minimum. It will be colder in 10 years than at any time since man built its first cities. But the resources in the Arctic won’t become more economical to raise.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
