I have long ago stopped taking anything that comes out of South Africa in terms of LNG and gas seriously. There were simp,y too many announcements, and in spite of the obvious energy plight of the population, nothing concrete ever gets done. South Africa is mired in rotten politics and I have doubts that this can be fixed by more virtue signaling. This was a decently developed country once – now they can’t even assure electricity at any time of day. Sad.
