Solar panel waste is not a significant problem

Oh, it’s not a significant problem then. That is comforting. I assume that there is no problem when solar developers put down a bond payment for the decommissioning and recycling of the entire solar park when it’s done doing what it’s doing at current costs. Sure that will cost them some money but apparently this won’t be significant anyhow. Because so far, when solar projects fail, the public is left with the ruin and the cost of getting rid of the monster. I am happy Solar can pay for it now.

Solar panel waste will not be a problem because there is so little of it. However, there is a short-term problem in some places because panel deployment is growing fast and recycling is playing catch…

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
