Tellurian eyes first LNG late 2027

How long has the Driftwood project been around as a paper tiger? I have stopped counting the years. And how long has the current market situation due to the war in Ukraine been around? We are looking at the second anniversary in the not-too-distant future. And in all this time with all these market winds pushing LNG forward, Driftwood was not able to secure FID. What’s wrong with this project?

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
