The Economist: EU Should Embrace Tougher Carbon Pricing

The EU is on the road to economic hell and total irrelevance so some people argue that it does not matter anymore what madness is executed as a policy. When things will go biblical anyhow, what does anyone care about some trillions on top? Well, it may not matter in the big picture, but to some pockets of sanity, it may make a huge difference. I think that the EU is beyond repair and as painful it will be to see it fall apart, I have come to the conclusion that it’s better to break it up. Or to break out. That will be a horrible toll to take but it increasingly looks like the lesser pain.
