The temperature is rising. I am not talking about the ambient air temperature but rather the temperature in board rooms and government offices. Successive swathes of management and officials as well as civil servants have kicked the can down the road trusting that if this whole Ponzi scheme ever blows up, they won’t be in charge anymore, and behind them is the deluge. But no matter how many generations of elites have made it through so far, there will always be the one that will have to pay the piper. Today’s leaders start to see a future beyond climate madness as they can smell riots and electoral defeat if they don’t. So they turn on their heels.
