Weren’t we told that those wind-turbine blades would be recycled and better, that we will make money recycling them? Weren’t we told that those contraptions won’t leave anything behind that would harm nature? I remember the recycling bit and as we see them being buried thats most certainly bull. Wind turbines were a technology that was outdated more than 100 years ago. Being able to enjoy their products only when the wind is your friend and not when you need it. They might make some sense in some limited cases, but not as a be-all and do-all.

Landfills are the final destination for millions of worn-out wind turbine blades, where their toxic plastics will be left to rot for the ‘benefit’ of generations to come. These 10-20 tonne, 40-60m …
