There is a huge difference in nature between US LNG and Russian LNG. Russian LNG comes on Arctic class vessels which means they are very expensive in every imaginable way. They need the reload somewhere and NWE is the first pitstop. Choice is limited. The US producers on the other side use Europe as overspill protection while hunting for better deals. As we are in historic oversupply now, that’s a lot of LNG to overspill but this does not change the nature of the beast.
