Hunker down? Is that all you got? Sit still and hope for good things to happen. My younger son is 9 years old but he has admitted in private that he knows Santa Claus does not exist and that the presents come from us and his grandparents. It’s nice to believe in miracles but if you are an LNG project developer and you still go down that road you have a serious issue to deal with. Wake up – China is not coming back. When the smoke clears and we see some more of the truth, get ready for wet eyes. Wanna do your LNG project? Build the market.

An initial trade deal between Washington and Beijing in mid January was hailed by the energy industry as a first step to encouraging China to sign new long term contracts to import more US LNG.
