US LNG exporters plan projects to capitalise on European shortages

It takes years to build an LNG export project. If all the stars align and everything goes just perfectly, count in 5 years. And it never goes that smoothly. So whoever is not in a position to take FID tomorrow, will look at 2026 for a startup at the very earliest. How long is this going to subsist? I mean we have seen record low prices and record-high prices in a space of a bit more than 24 months. Just a few months ago nobody would have bet a rusty nail on LNG. I am sure that LNG is a great investment in the future, but because of a European bull market. It’s complicated.
