Victoria’s Green Zealots Banned Gas Fracking – Now Running Out of Gas

Looks like a hard case of “Careful what you wish for”. Australian voters are pretty hardy folks as they bring parties and politicians back from the death that should have disappeared from the public scene long ago. But they are hardly alone in this. Just 12 months ago it was political suicide to even mutter the word “fracking” except as part of very strong and violent condemnation. And just today I hear the leader of one of Austria’s political parties in Parliament say that we need to do that to be safe. How the narrative has changed in such a short time? Australia had a head start – they blew it. We all deserve donkey medals – on ribbons, please.
