Wear Old Clothes to Reduce our Climate Impact

The funny thing is that those asking us to live like bums fly private jets and wear Versace. Just take Kerry’s daughter lecturing Australians who start to experience the effects of too much renewables through extreme power prices and blackouts coming their way. Mrs Kerry does not need to worry about such things of course. I want to see those suggesting those policies walking the talk. Dress as you say we shall dress, eat as you say we shall eat, and live the way you want us to live. If you don’t, you should have some pillory time for us to tell you what we think.

Australia has the world’s biggest carbon footprint from fashion. This is one area where changing our personal clothing choices can make a big difference, just as it did in the second world war.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
