Will China Be Russia’s Technological Lifeline in the Arctic?

There is a point at which simple copy-paste won’t work anymore. China is no innovative nation – it’s a bureaucratic nation where decision-making runs through a maze of civil servants with aims other than doing what’s best for the company. China is building its first large aircraft carrier now and will find out that more important than the hardware is the know-how of the crews and engineers. That is true in O&G and especially so in LNG. Why has Russia not copied Western technology if it was so easy? Why does china still insist on technology and know-how transfer? Good luck Russia and China.
