It will be a very short conversation because when it comes to protecting their prospects of getting re-elected politicians are more brutal than Vladimir Putin when it comes to bringing his neighborhood under his thumb. They will turn on a dime, ditch all the virtue-signaling stuff and bring on coal power as fast as they can. LNG will bring some soothing especially when reduced demand for anything from Asia will lower energy demand there too. There will be some rocky years but expect clean coal to make strides. Reality is hard to argue with.
