African Energy Chamber: Angola fast-tracking sustainable oil development to increase production

The Angolan peace accords are more than 30 years old now so one should expect the scars of war to be patched over by now. But still, oil companies concentrate on the near offshore and near shore region – much less on the interior of the country. Many are afraid of what they might find in the ground once they start searching the area for oil and gas. The country is still full of mines and other nasty surprises. Once all that is cleaned up it would be interesting by how much hydrocarbons production could expand.
