Australia’s Hydrogen Hype Bubble Is Starting To Leak

Hydrogen is dead on the starting blocks. Its fundamental problem is not production although that’s on the very expensive side already. Its real problem is storage and transport. And it’s not the lack of smart technologies but rather the fundamental physical properties of hydrogen. It’s a small molecule that will leak through any material, will make many metals brittle, will explode easily and readily, and is hard to tame in many other ways. It’s a giant invitation for disaster – much worse than the already concerning explosivity of Electric Vehicles. Just don’t.
