Al Gore responds to COP28 president’s claim there’s ‘no science’ in ending use of fossil fuels

This is the man who predicted that the Arctic would be ice-free by 2014. He said it when he was awarded the Nobel Price at the ceremony so this statement is hard to bury. Ten years after the Arctic was supposed to be ice-free, Russia has ordered new mega ice breakers as plenty of ships regularly get stuck in ice that is not supposed to exist. Not only are we not closer to an ice-free Arctic now, it’s even gaining ice. And that’s only one of the countless predictions that have been made – all wrong. All of them. Yet, those people still have an audience. Who is to blame? Look in the mirror.
