Argentina pursues LNG export dreams

It’s good to make some buck by exporting stuff that you pull from your part of the Earth’s crust. But it would be even better to use this stuff and build up some new industries, industries that might like low-cost reliable energy. This – of course – also would suppose that Argentina deeply reforms its rotten economic policies. There is a reason why the country can’t seem to get out of the economic doldrums it has been in pretty much forever. This was once one of the wealthiest places on Earth.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
