Ask Your Elected Representative What He Has Done to Streamline Government and Control the National Debt

Every organised society is exposed to an inevitable rot. Good people disappear quickly from the rungs of leadership, and bandits take over. They squeeze the system as well as they can, and they start to shape the system to this effect. Eventually, they are undermined by idiots as they fear other bandits. This gives the system momentum towards total collapse, as idiots don’t care about preserving anything. There are only two ways to break this. Either wholesale collapse, which often results in semi-failed or fully failed states or war, or someone does the hard work to weed the system out. This is a thankless job as pretty much everyone benefiting will be opposed, and the others don’t have a loud voice.

They ride to Washington DC on grand promises, but when they get there they just sit and mysteriously get rich, year after year. The government gets fatter and more corrupt — and so do they!…
