Beijing breaks a seven-decade cold-weather record

Reuters says it – so it’s a fact. Is it? I bet that by March 2024 at the latest pretty much everybody mainstream will shout from the roofs that 2023 was the hottest year we ever had and that winter 2023 air condition consumed more energy than heating. This will be a wild lie but alarmists have never cared much about facts. They will just blurt it out trusting that most people will have forgotten what really happened. And “most people” is enough for them. Those of us who remember – a minority – will be steamrollered or ignored. Works just fine.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
