Billionaires and your natural gas stove

Sure they hate it. It’s very economical, it’s reliable, it’s very clean and it’s just the right thing for you if you are not a billionaire. Those don’t have the same requirements we regular folks have. They can afford the most outlandish tech and while they can they won’t hesitate to use the net we all use to make sure they won’t have to suffer all the downsides of so-called green options. Renewables are not very reliable you know. They like the backup conventional energy provides and that all the rest of us pays for. They wanna have their bragging rights and none of the discomfort and we are giving them to them.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
