We must put all academia under one giant question mark. We must ask ourselves if some studies are still worth it. We must ask ourselves if the mental damage done to our kids during their time there can be prevented or undone and if the useful stuff they learn makes up for it. And we must start to ask ourselves serious questions if everyone should have to hold a diploma for any possible job or if other forms of bringing people up to the standards we need in the professional world are not better? When I was a kid, academia was still well-regarded. Thats over.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
