Blackouts Cripple South Africa Again as Eskom Stumbles

In South Africa, rampant corruption and a completely unhinged version of affirmative action has ransacked not only the power sector but the entire economy. It will require generational change in order to fix this. In Europe, load shedding and brown- as well as black-outs will become a common feature because of an energy policy that eliminates stable power production and replaces it with unreliable renewables. So far, the fossil legacy system was able to iron out the wrinkles, soon it wont be able to do so anymore. I doubt people will appreciate, and we will see the effects at the ballot boxes.
