BP Shareholders Unhappy With Green Strategy

They are not unhappy with the green strategy. They have supported every idiocy the management has thrown at them so far and now they look for a scapegoat to blame for their own failings. Shareholders of big, publicly traded companies are not the entrepreneurs we like to think of. They are representatives of other large organizations driven by political correctness and virtue signaling rather than the search for profits and offering better products and services for a lower price. They were complicit in wrecking BP and many other big companies. Frankly, I won’t shed a tear over any of them. Maybe the corporate culling to come brings back common sense.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
