Can ‘clean energy’ schemes get any crazier?

Ever since the dotcom crisis hit us almost a quarter of a century ago, I was at the point where I thought it could not get any crazier so many times, I stopped counting long ago. After WW2, Germany and Austria were utterly destroyed. Both countries needed not only to rebuild their infrastructure but their entire economies. My parents grew up in this time. My mother still tells me how they went hungry many times and that a simple tram trip to the city center cost a fortune and took forever. Clothes were worn until they could not be mended any more. Will we be this bad? I doubt it but the cozy lives’ we had for decades now has come to an end.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
