Could Europe’s Supply Gap Herald a Golden Age of LNG?

If anything, the current European energy mess should herald introspection. Is importing all the energy we need really the best policy forward? There will always be some exchange, depending on what the resource situation of a single country is going to be. My own Austria could be a hydropower superpower. Ukraine – once peaceful – could be a shale juggernaut. Some countries will have to go for more nuclear and others have a mix of possibilities but assuming that only imports are the road to salvation is erroneous. Oh, I left out wind and solar. I did so because we need stable power, not flicker electricity.
