It’s an exercise of how to put a round peg into a square hole. It cannot be done correctly so there are constant fudges. But in the past, when there was still a feeling that there was plenty of money for everything, such fudges were much easier. Not easy mind you as bickering over stuff that would mean the end of the world as we know it when done exactly as we are told it must be done is never easy to fudge around. You cannot hurt people too much for real but you need to keep them afraid enough for your Ponzi scheme to chug on. Like all Ponzis, this one will collapse too.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
