EU energy hopes hinge on a mild winter

My grandparents were hoping for mild winters. My parents were born before or during the war but when the war was over one of the first priorities was to free people from the terror of a hard winter. It must have been more important to them than it seems to be for us now. Then again, they knew how life at the mercy of nature can be. But wait, aren’t we supposed to live in a warming world? How can we expect any hard winter when the planet has been warming for decades now? Relax, the coming winter is going to be very mild. If you freeze, thats only virtual. Maybe identifying as a non-freezing person helps.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
