Record-breaking – not really. It’s more like going back to prices that reflect reality better. Solar and wind manufacturers gorged themselves on super low (some people would say artificially low) prices for their stuff firstly because China produced it while totally destroying its own environment. And also because there was a lot of dumping done by China. But China starts to fade out of the picture and we come back to the true price this stuff bears. Welcome to the real. There is a price to any folly, this is just one element of the final tag we have to suffer.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
