Gas network already at maximum capacity as cold snap hits

No surprise the gas network is on the ropes. Investing into the grid is not very profitable and financially risky as legislation becomes ever more insane. What investor throws his money at a thing that gets no love from the legislator ever. Coming on top, it is doing a job that it was not designed for. Wind and solar energy are extremely intermittent which means they need copious and very volatile backup. Natural Gas is an excellent backup but the existing grids have not been built for the strain. We have made our bed, now we don’t want to sleep in it. Hard luck.
