German energy agency asks to widen toll exemption for LNG trucks

Not long ago, Germany was THE laggard in terms of implementing LNG as a fuel in Europe. Everybody else was more advanced. Even Austria opened an LNG fuelling station before Germany. But now Germans have switched into overdrive. Nice.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
