German government row over Nord Stream 2
Just to remind you – this government is only weeks old and already rowing for its survival. Germany will most likely have a whole series of short, unstable governments now. Merkel has wrecked the very foundations Germany was built upon and has always shrunk from attacking the really important issues of her time. She bequeathed all of them to her successors. And those have very little substance to play with. the time of painless virtue signaling is over. Whatever one does will produce massive pain. Welcome back to the real world Germany.
