Germany and Denmark to build hydrogen pipeline

Please don’t connect this thing to any Natural Gas pipeline infrastructure. Hydrogen in Natural Gas pipes will destroy the steel those pipes are made of and considering that especially the big transmission pipes operate under a fair amount of pressure, we risk some very impressive explosions. Build your thing, we cannot prevent it anyhow. The money will be lost. The value will be lost to the population. But at least there are no existing pipes taking away lives and property. Why do you ask? Hydrogen embrittlement is still an issue. Physics and chemistry don’t care for political hot air.
