All of Europe faces the death of industries and if we don’t get busy solving our energy problems for real, we will never see them return. The US has the lowest energy prices on the planet right now with a massive home market and excellent infrastructure – in parts at least. European brains will migrate towards the US as life there will be better deepening the rot. Some countries will reinvent themselves as glorified tourist attractions and make money that way but this will make Europe a giant Disneyland theme park. Are we ready for shale and more nuclear yet?
