Germany’s Growing List Of Bans: Next Up: Wood Stoves And Heating With Wood

Germany is governed by a coalition including the Greens. My home country Austria as well. Both countries have one thing in common – the realists among the Greens know that after the next election, they will not see power again for quite a long while. Their hardcore fans will still vote for them but this is a rather small group and on the left fringe they have plenty of competition now. Heck, in Austria the Communists have become a factor in the political landscape for the first time in 70 years. The Greens need to milk this for what it’s worth. They know they will lose non-hardcore voters. So they cater to their captive fringe group only and give no damn for the rest of the population.

It’s becoming clear that the climate movement is all about stripping citizens of choices, comfort and ability to move around.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
