Green Policies, Not Trump Tariffs, Killing British Steel

Ah, the blame game—predictable as ever. How can we expect extremists who’ve justified letting people die in ambulances just to make a political point to suddenly start dealing in truth? They’ll latch onto any excuse to dodge accountability for the messes they’ve created, especially economic ones. And in their toolbox of deflection, no scapegoat looms larger than Trump. Bad hair day? Trump. Diet failed? Trump. Marriage fell apart? You guessed it. And the wild part? Plenty will swallow those excuses like it’s their last meal before a trek across the Sahara. It’s just how a certain slice of humanity operates—loud, illogical, and depressingly consistent. Best to tune them out and move on.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
