Greenwashing – how industries lie to you

Everyone lies. Anything that produces additional costs is being twisted and massaged until it fits for the least amount of cash in the endless quest for optimization. This happens to worthwhile regulations as well as to rubbish rules. But in climate matters, the total fictitiousness of the entire cause comes on top. Many managers know exactly that this is all hogwash and that any money thrown after it is utterly wasted so they prefer doing as if to the real thing. They can’t face the public and tell them to buzz off as this is all a bucket of horse manure. So Greenwashing will go on until the Green Industrial Complex goes down due to the weight of its own crap.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
